Ofobruku Congratulates APC NEC, Calls for Unity and Aggressive Grassroots Expansion

Hon. Efe Ofobruku, frontline aspirant for the Okpe, Sapele, Uvwie Federal Constituency under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has hearthly congratulated the newly elected National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party, describing their emergence as a defining moment for renewed strength, discipline, and political dominance.

Following the successful National Convention held in Abuja, Hon. Ofobruku asserted that the new leadership must rise decisively to the demands of the moment and reposition the APC as an unshakable force across Nigeria’s political landscape.

In his statement to newsmen, he commended the National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda; National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru; National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Felix Morka; and other executive members, stressing that their emergence must signal not just continuity, but a bold new era of strategic leadership and results-driven governance within the party.

Hon. Ofobruku emphasized that the expectations of party faithful and Nigerians at large are high, and the new NEC must not fall short. He charged them to immediately strengthen internal party discipline, close ranks across all factions, and aggressively expand the party’s grassroots structures ahead of future electoral contests.

“This is not a time for routine leadership,” he stated. “It is a time for bold decisions, unity of purpose, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the APC and the aspirations of the Nigerian people.”

Reaffirming his alignment with the vision of the President and National Leader of the party, Hon. Ofobruku noted that the success of the new NEC is directly tied to sustaining national progress and delivering tangible results to citizens.

He further called on party members to move beyond passive support and fully engage in mobilization, advocacy, and defense of the party’s values at all levels.

Offering prayers, he charged the new leadership to lead with courage, integrity, and a clear sense of purpose, warning that history will judge their tenure by their ability to strengthen the APC and secure its future electoral victories.
